Prevent SIDS With Miriam’s Choice Of Best Baby Monitors

Hi again to all mothers and mothers to be.

Marus and II wanted to write up a quick post to let all mum’s know how essential baby monitors are in particular the Angelcare Baby Monitors. For me this has been an outstanding monitor above others.

The peace of mind that I get from it knowing that my baby’s breathing and movements are monitored most definitely is a major contributor to the quality of sleep my husband and I get.

Able to detect our child’s every movement even when sleeping we receive an alarm notifying us if there hasn’t been a movement after 20 seconds. This feature was essential for me because my child almost fell victim to SIDS.

If you prefer the movement pad can be turned off to monitor only mode. The volume and clarity of this product is great that you can hear everything! Our parent’s device has a volume control but I usually keep mine on high just to hear his breathing.

Admittedly this monitor has given us a couple of false alarms at the most, when I run into check on him I realize that his only moved to the bottom of the crib (peehhwww).

Personally, I would still rather have false alarms than to not have it at all. When your baby starts developing and getting a lot more active you might have to remove the monitor mat. At 8 months my son was rolling on and off that mat I couldn’t keep up. I ended up using the sound Angelcare Baby Movement and Sound Monitormonitor piece so that was great.

Some Great Features

Some other features that I have enjoyed from this baby monitor is the soft night light given off by the nursery unit and the room thermometer detector. The temperature is displayed on the parent’s units, which can alert you when the temperature falls out of your preset range.

Some other awesome features I found to be helpful include an out-of-range indicator, a parent’s unit locator, optional voice activation and a color LCD on each parent’s unit which displays all the data.

Interference

Unlike other baby monitors interference with reception from internet and telephones seem to be a major however I can say this wasn’t the case for me. I mean it’s no DECT model but it does the job well enough to feel secure.

Stop Your Worrying Today

The fact of the matter is that baby monitors are essential items when shopping for baby products. Any quality decent model may do a good job but if you have a new born infant I highly recommend the Angelcare Baby Monitors range to everyone! It is a must have especially for first time parents, who like me, worry about everything.
